Julian B. Dr. Nicole Ford-Francis
Dr. Nicole Ford-Francis has over 25 years of experience in project and program management, particularly within the education, government, and aerospace sectors. A proud student of Morgan State University and graduate of Coppin State University, both HBCUs, she has led significant initiatives in government contracting, including managing a $100M IDIQ contract at NASA, which she grew by $45.9M over five years. At NASA, she spearheaded efforts to recruit talent from HBCUs, Tribal Colleges, and Hispanic-Serving Institutions, helping to cultivate the next generation of scientists. Dr. Ford-Francis has deep experience in creating strategic partnerships, having developed a Government Contractor’s Partnership Symposium to connect large and small contractors with HBCUs. Her work with the Department of Education’s HBCU Capacity Building program at UNCF and collaborations with the White House Initiative for HBCUs underscore her commitment to elevating these institutions. She brings expertise in research, program evaluation, and workforce development, with a focus on science and technology. Dr. Ford-Francis is also a consultant for government contractors in aerospace and defense, leveraging her extensive network to create opportunities for student internships, training, and job placement.
