Charles County Public Library

The Charles County Public Library in Southern Maryland sought to develop a new brand identity that captured its values, mission and transformation over the years. The new brand needed to convey CCPL’s passion for fulfilling its mission, as well as the realization of possibilities and the knowledge that users gain from the library. The new brand needed to express that by being inclusive, dynamic, current, and providing a sense of unity and stability for the community.

JBK worked with CCPL staff to develop a cohesive brand identity which met the library’s goals and objectives. Through an extensive process of research, brainstorming and concept development, we created a brand for the library which helps the organization better tell their story to a diverse and growing community.
